“Her music is rooted in her signature ability to infuse a touch of honesty alongside plenty of sonic intricacy.”

Audra Watt is a Nashville-based multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter known for emotionally direct songwriting and a high level of musical craftsmanship. Classically trained as an oboist and concert pianist, with additional training in jazz piano and improvisation, Watt brings a rare technical foundation to her pop and country work, pairing expressive storytelling with polished, melodic production.

Over the past year, she has steadily released new music, earning attention for solo-written songs such as “Bullet Trains,” “The Good of It,” and “Here in New York.” Ahead of her debut album release in 2026, Audra’s music surpassed half a million streams across multiple platforms in 2025, reflecting growing listener engagement and momentum.

In addition to her solo work, Watt is a frequent collaborator, working across genres with a wide range of artists. She collaborated with Marc E. Bassy on the summer release “Try Again” and with outlaw country artist El Demonio on the 2025 track “Loser,” which appears on El Demonio’s forthcoming 2026 studio album distributed by EMPIRE. These collaborations highlight Watt’s versatility and reputation as a trusted creative partner.

The title track of her debut album, Start Late, arrived January 2, 2026, and set the tone for a project centered on growth rather than urgency. Written by Watt and recorded at Vibe King Studio in Nashville, the song was produced alongside her longtime collaborator Andrew King, with whom she has developed a sound that feels both intimate and expansive. With Start Late, Audra Watt reinforces the idea that meaningful work unfolds on its own timeline.
